Martin Luther King, Jr. March & Rally
January 18, 2010

Commemorating and continuing the advancements of the civil rights leaders, the event's theme is "Keeping the Dream Alive! Remembering the Past; Forging Towards the Future." The March is held on Auburn Avenue from Peachtree Street to Jackson Street. The Rally is held on Auburn Avenue in the King National Park Area.

Black History Month Parade
February 27, 2010

Celebrating the culture, history heritage and accomplishments of the African-American community, the first annual Black History Month Parade will feature fun and activities for the whole family! Stop by for performances, speeches and food which exhibit the community's progressive history!

Sweet Auburn Springfest 2010
May 7 – 9, 2010

Sweet Auburn Springfest 2010 is a celebration of 25 years of great festivals on Auburn Avenue. In 1984 civil rights icon, Hosea Williams produced the first festival in an effort to bring people back to Auburn Avenue. His vision was to once again see Auburn Avenue as a thriving, bustling center of Black Atlanta's business, social, civic and religious life.

Sweet Auburn Curb Market
Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. year round

Originally a segregated one-stop shop, the Sweet Auburn Curb Market was developed to help bring fresh produce and farm goods to urban dwellers. Today the market offers fresh produce as well hot meals, and features local crafters and handmade wares.
