Road Atlanta's Petit Le Mans
The annual Petit Le Mans Powered by Mazda6 is a four-day road racing festival with nine different racing series and 12 races at Road Atlanta. The headline Petit Le Mans endurance race is on Saturday. This year's race is Oct. 17-20, 2012.
There's something for everyone at this festival. Enjoy autograph sessions, talks and an open paddock where you can mingle with the cars, drivers and race teams.
Bring the whole family to Petit Le Mans, kids under 12 get in free with a paid adult and the Petit Pit Stop area has bounce houses, face painting and more. Vendor Village in the Midway is the place to go for food, games and interactive displays and merchandise sales.
Club Patron in Vendor Village has a live DJ and there's even a sports bar to catch the college football games. Check out the car corrals with hundreds of Porsches, Corvettes, Ferraris and more, and night racing practice on Thursday night is always a huge hit.
